Looking for some winter sun? Then you’ll want to know some of the warmest places in Europe in January. 

Beach days, ancient ruins, hiking, and lapping up no end of culture (and food) are the order of the day in winter in Europe. (As long as you’re not heading to northern Europe!).

I’ve put together this list of my favorite January destinations to give you some much-needed travel inspiration for the new year.
