Fysha Soaps, Great for Travelling

One thing I find challenging about traveling so much is that my skin is exposed to a variety of soaps and cleansers riddled with additives. They strip my skin of its natural oils, and having so many different soaps confuses my skin so I end up flaky and dry. Enter Fysha, a vegan soap brand whose focus on natural ingredients and a small batch, handmade process ensures each soap delivers uncompromising quality.

Fysha soaps seek to nurture balance and harmony between mind, body, and soul, using eco-friendly ingredients and processes.

My friend, and Fysha founder, Amina shared with UK Vogue why she decided to create a line of minimalistic, 100% natural, vegan soaps. “I’ve always seen cleansing as the first and most important step for any skincare routine because it lays the foundation for healthy skin. I made Fysha with the principles of purity and minimalism in mind, to create a range of soaps that respect the delicate balance of our skin, without stripping it of natural oils. By using active botanicals, and making Fysha soaps in an authentic way, we can make high-performance formulas, that are in harmony with the Earth.”

Fysha, which is a blend of the Greek word fysis (meaning nature) and handmade, soaps are made with Greek extra virgin olive oil, cold-pressed plant oils, clays, hydrating cocoa butter, shea butter, castor oil, and essential oils. Other ingredients include French clays, Deep Sea mud, and charcoal, all of which have detoxifying properties formulated to make a difference to your skin. Fysha soaps are made from just eight ingredients, so you know exactly what is going on your skin.

Some of the various soaps are Coco Castile, Grapefruit and Dead Sea Mud, Rose Geranium and French Red Clay, Peppermint and French Green Clay, Lavender and French Pink Clay, and Lemongrass and Detox Activated Charcoal Soap. Each soaps unique makeup offers different benefits to your skin, like removing toxins, reviving dull skin, and exfoliating dry or damaged skin.

For me, having these soap bars to travel with is ideal, as my skin no longer needs to worry about the parabens, synthetic fragrances, harmful chemicals, and palm oil in whatever soap the hotel uses. They’re not liquid, meaning they can go into my carry on, all natural, and suitable for sensitive skin. Because air travel dries my skin out, Fysha soaps are the perfect travel companion. And, at £10 each, they are affordable and healthy.
