Fall is an exiting time to be in London, following our rather impressive tour of the Buckingham Palace State Rooms in the morning — we decided to treat ourselves to a London Restaurant Star Deal at The Ritz London Restaurant.
The easiest way to find the best restaurant deals and offers is through Bookatable by Michelin app.
The Ritz London Michelin – starred restaurant is located in one of London’s landmark hotels right in the heart of Piccadilly. Renowned as one of the highlights of London’s exquisite dining scene — the Ritz London Restaurant features one of the most sophisticated and opulent dining rooms.

London Star Deals — 3 courses & a glass of champagne
We booked the London Star Deal— 3 courses & a glass of champagne packages which is at £62.50 per person. We opted for the last time slot which is at 2pm, giving us plenty of time to enjoy our lunch and the beautiful ambience of the grand dining room.
Upon arrival we were greeted by the professional staff and escorted to our table overlooking the palatial dining room, with floor to ceiling windows which open up to the terrace (perfect for outdoor summer dining). Decorated with grand wall mirrors and stunning chandeliers — the place was bustling with elegantly dressed couples as well as groups of friends, enjoying their delightful lunch.
Executive chef John Williams MBE has designed a refined culinary menu offering both fish and meat dishes, prepared using the finest seasonal British produce.
Our 3 courses & a glass of champagne experience at The Ritz London Restaurant
Once seated, my friend Elena and I were first served with a chilled glass of champagne, the Barons de Rothschild – Ritz Reserve exclusively made for The Ritz London. There is also a Champagne of the Month menu available if you wish to try some other excellent varieties (additional charge).
As a welcome starter from the Chef, we were presented with a beautiful silver tray with three different types of entrées. The chicken tubes with herbs had a sensational mix of curry and sweet taste, the salmon mousse macaron was both savoury and sweet, and the parmesan and green olive cream spread served between two savoury biscuits — all paired wonderfully with the glass of champagne. We were also served with a bread basket and fresh butter.
For starters I chose the Heritage Potato served with crunchy chicken skin and lovage which enhanced the flavour of the baby potatoes. My friend ordered the Var Salmon served in a cucumber and oyster sauce. The dish had a stunning presentation and refreshing flavour. All the dishes are brought out under silver plate covers and served flawlessly in a timely manner.
For main course I opted for the tender Jacob’s Ladder served with a carrot and bacon side dish, topped with a delicious red wine sauce. My friend ordered the Bresse Duck served with crunchy spring greens, turnip and hazelnut sauce.
We topped off our sensational lunch experience with dessert — the blackberry soufflé paired with a yogurt sorbet and a white chocolate mousse with raspberries and lime. And that was not it — we got another silver tray with a selection of luscious small desserts.
The service was highly attentive and the ambience exceptionally inviting. I definitely recommend this London Restaurant Festival Experience at The Ritz London Hotel for anyone looking to celebrate a special occasion or simply to enjoy the palatial interiors and magnificent cuisine of one of London’s chicest hotels.
