Venice Airport is named after the famous local writer and explorer Marco Polo and it’s located just 13 km from the city center. The city center is well connected to the airport area and the journey is fast, even if not so cheap!
Also, remember that no motorized vehicles (except for boats) are allowed to enter Venice, so you’ll be able only to reach Piazzale Roma, which is close to Ponte della Costituzione leading to S. Lucia railway station.
